This Firefox extension allows you to highlight text on a webpage by selecting it and clicking "Highlight" on the context-menu. If you hold down the Shift key while opening the context-menu, a sub-menu appears with more advanced options. Major features include a tracker to keep count of how many highlights were made, and an "Instant Highlight" function for one-click highlights.

  1. Choose different colours. If you hold down the Shift key when you right-click on a text selection, you get a sub-menu where you can select the colour to highlight with or change the colour of an existing highlight.
  2. Display tracker icons on webpage. When you scroll away from a highlight, a little icon will be placed on the corner of the webpage so you can click on it to jump back to the highlight.
  3. Warn when leaving a page. If you've highlighted some text on a page, you can choose to be warned before leaving the page so that you don't lose your highlights.
  4. Plus Instant Highlight. When you turn on Instant Highlight, you can highlight text just by selecting it. There is no need to access the popup menu or press any shortcut keys!
